After a call the Brittany Region on the topic “Teach the sea”, the Mont-Saint-Michel Bay Discovery Center Association and Avel associated and were selected to propose the first pedagogical trip for schools from 3rd Cycle 3 to college.

AVEL also offers a complete day with two supports that are the kite and the sand yachting in order to initiate the young people to the different notions that integrate these two activities.

AVEL offers an education in air through the sand yachting for pupils of the 3rd cycle (CE2, CM1, CM2).

This education to the air can take place on one or several two-hour sessions with a yacht for two, on the HIREL strike in the bay of Mont Saint Michel.

These sessions will be built to allow pilots to become self-sufficient in sand yachting, but to learn more about the meteorology, and reading and understanding the environment.

Aurélien FAVRON and Johann FAVE, the two trainers, are graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sports and hold a professional sports instructor card. They will be happy to let you discover their passions on 

the shore of HIREL: Air, wind and sand yachting

AVEL offers an education in air through the kite intended for pupils at the end of the 2nd cycle and the 3rd cycle, ie pupils going from CE1 to CM2.

This education in the air takes place in your primary school and / or in the center AVEL in the Mont St Michel’s bay in HIREL. A flight of the kites in HIREL can be realized for the last session, combined with a discovery of the sand yacht.

Aurélien FAVRON and Johann FAVE, the two trainers, are graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sports and with a certificate of kite instructor, delivered by the French Federation of Free Flight.

They are also responsible and instructors of the AVEL sailing center at HIREL, which gives them a great experience in all activities related to the wind.
